Here's an overview of how the service works with your broadband Internet connection and your television:

The Hawaii IPTV service by-passes your cable (or satellite box) instead connecting directly to your television set. Making it a complimentary appliance to your existing media system. Once the set top box is connected you will be able to change easily between your normal television programs and the Hawaii IPTV programs with the click of a remote.

All programming is delivered via the public Internet using your existing broadband connection.

Your current broadband Internet service comes to your home at an access point then to a modem and router or modem/router.

To connect your Hawaii IPTV set top box:

Open up the delivery package and pull out your Hawaii IPTV set top box. Cables and remote control with batteries are included.

We provide you with RCA cables (red, yellow and white). Connect these cables to the Hawaii IPTV set top box, then the other end of the cables will connect directly to your tv (not your cable or satellite box). If you look on your tv you probably have red, yellow and white inputs on the back or front of your tv. You may also have an S-video input. We will provide you with an S-video cable which you can use in place of the yellow video cable for better quality.

Plug your Hawaii IPTV set top box into to a power outlet or power strip.

We also provide you with an Ethernet cable which you plug into the back of the Hawaii IPTV set top box where it says LAN. The other end of this Ethernet cable connects to your Internet modem or router.

Turn on the set top box and your tv. Bang. Your rolling. It's that easy.

Other options include; connecting to the internet wirelessly if you have a wireless modem in your home. In this case you will need to go to the set up page on the set top box. The set top box is wireless enabled.

NOTE: Set up instructions are included with the set top box as well. Additionally you will need a minimum of 700khps of broadband Internet download speed. If you have a cable modem or premium dsl service then you have more than enough bandwidth.

We hope this does a good job of answering your current questions. Glad to answer any others that you may have.
